This is a teachers dream!!  A chance to meet up after 40 years to see how incredibly successful you all have become in the last 40 years!!  Thanks for the memories and the opportunity to see the ultimate results.
   
As for my last 40--they have been so exciting  they kept me feeling very young!  In fact I'm sure many of us are about the same age by now.  I retired from coaching in 1976 and from teaching in 1988.  That's' when life really started.  My wife Barb and I enjoy our two houses---winters in Pt Charlotte, FL and summers in Manistee, MI.  Some of the best boating and fishing anywhere.  We have also kept busy with a lot of travel.  Several fishing trips to Mexico and Alaska; very exciting hunting trips to Colorado, South Africa and New Zealand; and wonderful tours to see the antiquities of the Mayan ruins on the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, as well as trips to see the antiquities of Greece, and another to Italy.  Next year's trip to Egypt should be extra special.  As for an exciting activity, my wife and I both were involved in flying our powered parachute.  But by far the most exciting event occurred last summer at the when I went back into coaching diving and swimming at Manistee High School.  Working with high school age kids in a pool is just as exciting as it was back at Cousino.  I surely wish all of you as much excitement by the time you reach 76.  At any rate to so many of you ---"Thanks for the Memories!!"   "Coach" Jim Elliott
